Wanted: Old gardening books If your bookshelf runneth over, the Minnesota State Horticultural Society may be able to help. The hort society, as it's better known, is seeking donations of gardening books for its annual fundraising book sale. Recent color editions of books on gardening and horticulture related topics are sought, but sets of gardening encyclopedias are not. The society also will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 4, 11 and 18.

Donations will be accepted through Dec. 10.

The book sale will be part of the holiday open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 4. The sale will continue through Dec. 31. For more info, call 651-643-3601.
