Thursday night NFL games often aren't clean, crisp or memorable. That was certainly the case at U.S. Bank Stadium when Washington came to town for an early start to Week 8 to face the Vikings. But in the end, Minnesota picked up the victory to move to 6-2 on the year and that made for a rather satisfied locker room after the game.
Here are some highlights from select players and coaches.
Beating Nebraska, which has typically been near the bottom of the Big Ten, may not seem like a big deal. But the come-from-behind victory made the Gophers coach feel things are moving in the right direction.
