You need a ticket to get into a Vikings game, but you don't need to keep the ticket. But, there are some ticket stubs that are priceless, representing memories that last far longer than four quarters of football.

Paper tickets have been on their way out for years, and this week the Vikings announced they are no longer accepting paper printouts of game tickets it has accepted in the past. The ticketing process will be entirely electronic to provide better security.

So, those cherished stubs that featured pictures of your favorite players are now a thing of the past.

We want to see the stubs you've held onto for the longest -- and the ones that you hold closest to your heart. Send us photos of your favorite football ticket stubs, and tell us why you've cherished them so much. Use the form below or email your photos and the stories behind them to accessvikings@startribune.com.
