The Vikings added a veteran to the receiving corps.

Former Cardinals receiver and Cretin-Derham Hall graduate Michael Floyd agreed to a one-year deal with the Vikings on Wednesday, a league source confirmed to the Star Tribune.

Floyd's deal is worth $1.5 million and up to $6 million through incentives. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound receiver was a first-round pick by the Cardinals in 2012 out of Notre Dame.

Floyd, 27, had a short stint with the Patriots at the end of last season after he was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and released by the Cardinals. Floyd pleaded guilty to extreme DUI in February and served jail time along with 30 hours of community service and a fine.

The St. Paul native has caught 24 touchdowns in five NFL seasons.
