College has always been the time for a guy to try growing a beard. Now it's the time for a guy to grow a beard, document it daily, upload the resulting video to the internet and watch as it goes viral.
Carleton College student Corey Fauver did just that. Note how the stop-motion video gives a glimpse of Fauver's trips, campus' fall colors and experiments with orange dye.
The film won 2nd place in the campus film fest last week. Since then, it's nabbed more than 200,000 YouTube views.
"You look better with a little facial hair," one person commented. "Leave it like it is at 0:04."
