There aren't many decisions made by high school seniors that have been in the works for five years.

Then again, Tyus Jones isn't your typical high school senior.

The five-star basketball recruit is expected to make his long-awaited decision of where he will attend college on Friday. The 6-2 point guard will announce the school at 3 p.m. at Apple Valley High School in an event that will be broadcasted live on ESPNU.

Some 350 miles away in Chicago, longtime friend Jahlil Okafor will be making his decision public at the same time. The two have said for the past year that they want to play together in college. The duo is choosing between Duke and Kansas, according to ESPN.

Jones, who is ranked fourth in the nation according to Rivals.com, is the highest-ranked recruit to ever come out of Minnesota. The Gophers technically remain on his list, but they have never been on the list for Okafor, the nation's No. 1 recruit.
