The Timberwolves waived Dominique Johnson and Shaun Pruitt, two players who had been invited to training camp.
Johnson is a 6-3 guard from Azusa Pacific who had begun the 2011-12 season with the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League.
Pruit, a 6-10 forward-center, played overseas in the Czech Republic League and the Chinese Basketball Association in 2009-10 and for Peristeri BC in the Greek League and Gallitos de Isabela in the Puerto Rico league in 2009-10.
