Davis, a 5-9, 175-pound junior who played for his father at Wayzata High School, scored the game-winner and set up two goals as the Mavericks beat St. Cloud State 4-2 on Friday. And on Saturday, he has an assists on Rylan Galiardi's game-tying goal in a 2-2 tie.

He also killed penalties, helping the Mavericks to hold St. Cloud State 0-for-9 on the power play in the series.

Davis had five goals and 18 assists for 23 points in 35 games.

Goalies Alex Kangas of the Gophers and Brad Eidsness of North Dakota also were nominated for this award. So too was Denver defenseman Patrick Wiercioch.

Cook, a 6-3, 180-pound freshman from Wheaton, Ill. stopped 51 of 55 shots in two games. He had a .927 save percentage.

His record is 7-4-2 and he has a 2.42 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.

Forward Craig Smith, who had two goals for the Badgers in their 3-2 win on Friday over the Gophers, also was nominated for this award as was North Dakota forward Danny Kristo.

Clark, a 5-9, 171-pound senior, had four goals as the Seawolves split with UMD. He has 23 goals overall, the most among WCHA players and eighth best in the nation.

His 23 goals are the most by a Seawolf since Derek Donald had the smae number in 1991-92.

Clark's second goal on Friday was the game-winner with 22 seconds left as the Seawolves beat YMD 3-2.

He also had two goals in Alaska Anchorage's 6-3 loss on Saturday.

Clark has 23 goals and 14 assists for 37 points in 34 games.

Among five other forwards nominated for this award were Mike Carman of the Gophers who had two goals and two assists -- a career-high four points -- on Sunday in a 6-1 rout of Wisconsin and Jason Gregoire of the Sioux.
