Mike Pelfrey has struggled in four starts, failing to average five innings per game and piling up a 7.32 ERA. Sam Deduno has a 1.84 ERA in 14⅔ innings out of the bullpen. He's been part of a very effective relief group, but his role as a long reliever is not nearly as important as a potential role as another solid starter in a rotation that could use more stability.

Maybe Pelfrey gets one more try to sort things out. Or maybe, if the Twins are serious about continuing to be proactive about their roster, they should have those pitchers trade roles and see how each responds.

nice digs Brad Radke's 11,000-square-foot mansion in Florida is on the market for $6.8 million, according to a report at bustedcoverage.com.

Say what? Former Vikings RB Herschel Walker thinks he could still play in the NFL, he told USAToday.com.
