Two U of M associate athletic directors have been let go from their current roles and two interim associate ADs have been named, Gophers AD Norwood Teague told staff members Wednesday morning.

Regina Sullivan, formerly the Senior Associate AD/Senior Women's Administrator, and Jason LaFrenz, the Associate AD for External Relations, are moving out of their current roles.

Randy Handel is the interim associate AD for development, while Chris Bahl is the interim associate AD for external relations.

Sullivan was responsible for administration over several sports, including men's and women's basketball. LaFrenz was involved heavily with overseeing ticket sales.

The search for a permanent Senior Associate AD/Senior Women's Administrator is expected to begin in the next few weeks.

The Gophers played with more urgency, but it wasn’t enough to keep them from another conference sweep, and they lost LJ Mooney to injury in the process.
