Tonight's game between the Twins and Indians has been postponed because of rain.

The make-up date has yet to be determined, but the Twins say it will come later in the season, when the Indians return to Target Field. Fans holding tickets to Friday's game should hold onto them for admission to the rescheduled game.

Cleveland comes back July 18-20 and Sept. 16-18.

This was the second rainout in Target Field history, with the other coming last May 7 at Baltimore.

Meanwhile, there were two positive developments on the injury front:

* Justin Morneau feels much better and said he could be ready to play Saturday, depending on how he feels in the morning.

* Delmon Young had no problem with his ribs when he swung in the batting cage.

"So we gained two," Manager Ron Gardenhire said.

The Twins and Indians will play Saturday at 12:10 p.m., with Brian Duensing pitching opposite Fausto Carmona. Sunday's matchup will now pit Carl Pavano against Carlos Carrasco.

Francisco Liriano, who was scheduled to pitch Sunday, had his next start moved to Tuesday against Tampa Bay.
