Twins look to get back on track versus Pirates

The Twins lost two of three games to the Yankees over the weekend and now face a talented Pittsburgh squad

There's a stranger mixed in among Twins players at the batting cage this afternoon.

Wait a second, that's no stranger. That's Byron Buxton, and he's holding a bat, He's made enough progress in his recovery from his sprained left thumb to swing a bat now.

It's actually bunting practice, so I haven't seen him take any cuts. This team practices bunting a lot. It would be nice for it to show up in games more often.

Some Pirates players are out on the field as well. You know. the Pirates are currently Twins East these days. Pedro Florimon, Vance Worley, Francisco Liriano and Deolis Guerra are currently on the roster.

This is the first of a two-game miniseries at Target Field. Will check back later with updates.
