Eduardo Escobar doubled to right, scoring Plouffe and advancing Rosario to third. Pinch-hitter Kennys Vargas popped out to third. Danny Santana singled to right, scoring Rosario; Escobar advanced to third and Santana to second advancing on throw. Brian Dozier hit a three-run homer to left-center.
