Pitching prospect Jose Berrios is being called up from Class AAA Rochester to start for the Twins on Monday in Cleveland.
The 22-year-old righthander will meet the team in Cleveland. The Twins are expected to make his promotion official on Monday.
Berrios is 10-5 with a 2.55 ERA for Rochester, statistics far better than he accumulated in his first trip to the majors earlier this season. He went 1-1 with a 10.20 ERA in 15 innings, giving up 20 hits and walking 12.
