Friday delivered a welcome high of 25, but relief from the persistent bitter cold will be short-lived.
The high Saturday will be near 20 in the Twin Cities, dipping to a low of minus 9, according to the National Weather Service. Then the temperature Sunday will remain between 7 below and 2 above, with the windchill reaching 20 to 30 below Sunday night and Monday morning.
Continuing the rollercoaster ride, Monday will warm to the mid-20s with sunny skies. Tuesday brings more snow with a return to a low of zero.
