Twin brothers from Fort Lauderdale commit to Gophers

Elijah Daniels and Elisha Daniels became the Gophers' 10th and 11th commitments for the Class of 2016.

The Gophers landed commitments Saturday from a pair of defensive backs -- twin brothers Elijah Daniels and Elisha Daniels, from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbon.

Elijah Daniels is a consensus three-star safety who also had reported offers from Boston College, Iowa State, Pittsburgh and Syracuse, among others.

Elisha Daniels is a consensus three-star cornerback who also had reported offers from Bowling Green, Eastern Carolina, South Alabama and Temple, among others.

Both announced their commitments on Twitter. The Gophers now have 11 commitments for the Class of 2016.
