Two sturdy franchises unite for “Lego Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit,” an animated special billed as a prequel to 2015’s “Jurassic World.” It’s hard to get too excited about the hastily announced one-hour feature since neither Chris Pratt nor Bryce Dallas Howard are returning to voice their characters.

Panic in the park

Sylvester Stallone doesn’t usually get props for portraying anyone other than Rocky Balboa, but even when he was churning out fairly standard action movies, he flexed some acting muscle. While “Creed II” plays in theaters, check out his work as a guilt-ridden ranger in 1993’s “Cliffhanger,” a terrific thriller that depends largely on Stallone looking genuinely frightened of both heights and a wigged-out John Lithgow.

For your amusement

“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” is mainly an infomercial for amusement parks, but at least the two-hour special has recruited some enticing salespeople. Gwen Stefani will chime in with “Feliz Navidad” and Meghan Trainor will perform a medley of her hits.

8 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5
