Here comes the judge

"Judge Judy Primetime" may be Judith Sheindlin's next significant step to getting appointed to the Supreme Court. The special will look at how the New York Family Court judge became a national sensation. The show will also include excerpts from the 1993 "60 Minutes" special that put her on the map. 7 p.m. WCCO, Ch. 4

The producer

Mel Brooks is best known for outrageous comedy, but he's also responsible for making great films as a producer. Watch three of his best, starting with the heartbreaking "The Elephant Man" (7 p.m.), followed by "My Favorite Year" (9:15 p.m.) and "To Be or Not to Be" (11 p.m.). TCM

Military might

Country legends Merle Haggard and George Strait are among the singers participating in "ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops," which includes appearances from Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum. The only thing missing: the ghost of Bob Hope. 8 p.m. WCCO, Ch. 4.
