GREY'S ANATOMY - "Dream a Little Dream of Me" - On the two-hour season premiere of "Grey's Anatomy," Meredith and Derek learn that "happily ever after" isn't easy, a military doctor who brings in a trauma patient catches Cristina's eye, and the Chief and his staff reel at the news that Seattle Grace is no longer nationally ranked as a top-tier teaching hospital, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The doctor is out

After 10 years of botched romances, cranky patients and emergency-room shootings, Dr. Cristina Yang is hanging up her stethoscope. The season finale of "Grey's Anatomy" features the departure of Sandra Oh, who has consistently been the soap's most complicated and compelling character. She will be missed. 8 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5

Presto!

I was under the impression that "The Carbonaro Effect" was what happens when you overdose on pasta. Turns out it's a new series in which comic magician Michael Carbonaro plays practical jokes on unsuspecting strangers. 9 p.m., TruTV

Mountain man

Sylvester Stallone may not have the best track record in Hollywood, but he's got a number of underappreciated films that deserve a second look. At the top of the list: 1993's "Cliffhanger," a seat-of-your pants, beautifully shot thriller with John Lithgow at his maniacal best. If you've been planning a mountain-climbing trip, it's guaranteed to make you consider canceling. 7 p.m., Reelz Neal Justin
