Back to the future

It's tough enough dealing with modern-day terrorists. Now just imagine if some of them pay us a visit from the future. That's the ongoing plot of "Continuum" (9 p.m. Friday, Syfy), the time-traveling police drama that returns for a second season.

Tony digs

After years at the Beacon Theatre, "The 67th Annual Tony Awards" (7 p.m. Sunday, WCCO, Ch. 4) moves back into the more spacious Radio City Music Hall, which means the 14 production numbers should be bigger and better than ever. Neil Patrick Harris handles hosting duties.

I'm a survivor

Noah Wyle's fight to save the world continues — with a little help from a former "ER" colleague. Gloria Reuben guest stars during the third season of "Falling Skies" (8 p.m. Sunday, TNT). Others due to help battle alien forces include Terry O'Quinn, Stephen Collins and Robert Sean Leonard. What? No Chicken Little?

By George!

CNN continues its re-imaging project with the launch of "Stroumboulopoulos" (9 p.m. Sunday, CNN), a new talk show hosted by Canada's George Stroumboulopoulos. The only person not excited about the new program is George Stephanopoulos, who is suffering from "vowel envy."
