Backstage passes

Go behind the scenes of one of Broadway's most beloved recent hits in "TV One Takes the Trip to Bountiful With Cathy Hughes" (7 p.m., TV One), including interviews with Tony winner Cicely Tyson. I'm not sure who Cathy Hughes is, but as long as she covers cab fare, I'm happy to come along.

Now ready for prime time

Former "Saturday Night Live" players reunite to play charades and other parlor games in "Hollywood Game Night" (9 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, Jason Sudeikis and Maya Rudolph are among the party guests. Chevy Chase was invited, but refused to show up unless the series was renamed "Chevy Chase Game Night."

Pizza, pizza

Annabeth Gish's appearance in FX's promising new series "The Bridge" reminded me just how adorable and heartbreaking she was in 1988's "Mystic Pizza" (10 p.m., HBO Comedy), the coming-of-age film that put Julia Roberts on the map. Five years later, director Donald Petrie would discover something "mystic" about Minnesota, where he filmed "Grumpy Old Men."
