Dollars and sense

Diana Person, come on down! The Minneapolis resident takes her best shot at reaching the showcase showdown when she's selected to participate in "The Price Is Right" (10 a.m., WCCO, Ch. 4). Drew Carey is more than capable as a host, but let's face it: It's just not the same without Bob Barker.

Back to school

"Community" (7 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11) may have lost show-runner Dan Harmon, but it still retains its zany sensibilities thanks to a brave team of writers and a game cast that's willing to do anything to break the typical sitcom format. Only Chevy Chase seems disinterested, which may explain why he'll be featured in only a few episodes of this shortened season.

Topping the list

Dan Cortese hosts "Guinness World Records Gone Wild" (7 p.m., Tru TV), a new series that proves there is merit to stuffing cockroaches in your mouth, getting kicked in the head repeatedly for a minute and diving into 12 inches of water.
