A call to arms

If Sylvester Stallone can make a movie about arm wrestling ("Over the Top," anyone?), then cable can do a reality series about it. "Game of Arms" takes you behind the scenes of this intense sport in five cities: Kansas City, New York City, Sacramento, Baton Rouge, La., and Erie, Pa. What, no love for Minnesota biceps? 9 p.m., AMC

Genius at work

With the exception of playing Phoebe's boyfriend on "Friends," Minnesota native Steve Zahn hasn't done much network TV. That changes — big time — with his juicy role in "Mind Games," a new drama in which he plays a bipolar expert on human behavior who tries to help his con artist brother (Christian Slater) start a business. Watching Zahn embrace his character's frenetic nature is reason enough to check this out. 9 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5

Car talk

"The Profit" returns for a second season of entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis using his skills — and bankroll — to help small businesses struggling to stay afloat. First up: a trip to Maple Grove, Ill., to help a man save a high-end used car dealership. 9 p.m., CNBC
