The unsinkable Molly

Fans of "Mike & Molly" (8:30 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) had better appreciate the series while they can. If star Melissa McCarthy has another box-office hit like "Identity Theft," she'll be waving goodbye to sitcomland in the very near future. That's not a bad thing. McCarthy is way too versatile and talented to be bogged down by this fairly conventional comedy.

Help!

The Navy SEALs who killed Osama bin Laden aren't the only military men putting their lives on the line. "Inside Combat Rescue" (9 p.m., NGC) is a new six-part series tracking Air Force warriors from their training base in Georgia to the fields of Afghanistan, where they attempt to retrieve soldiers from utter chaos.

'Fame' game

If "Glee" is starting to leave you glum, check out the much grittier version of singing and dancing your way through high school. "Fame" (1:30 a.m., TCM) may have its cast breaking into musical numbers, but it's also a painful drama about the angst of being out here on your own .
