A league of their own
Accommodating many superheroes at once can be a formula for success (“The Avengers”) or disaster (“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice”). By most accounts, “Marvel’s The Defenders” earns a spot in the win column with Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist finding a way to share the spotlight.

The Diceman cometh
“Dice” is supposed to prove that Andrew Dice Clay is willing to make fun of himself, but the star and his writers can’t quite commit. In the Season 2 premiere, Clay imagines what the world would be like if he hadn’t become a bottom-feeding comic, invariably inviting comparisons to Jimmy Stewart from “It’s a Wonderful Life” rather than a low-rent Arthur Fonzarelli.
