Mother of invention If Kelly Ripa can help Regis Philbin get through an hour of TV, she can certainly aid some ambitious female entrepreneurs. That's the premise behind "Homemade Millionaire" (9 p.m. Friday, TLC), in which Ripa and celebrity guests, including Emeril Lagasse and Jennifer Flavin-Stallone (Sly's wife), help businesswomen take the next step. In the meantime, Reege is still grousing about losing his "Millionaire" show.

Boys' town New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys put aside their war colors for one night, appearing together onstage for "The 2010 American Music Awards" (7 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5). In other reunion news, guest performer Ke$ha will be reunited with the letter "s." Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, Miley Cyrus, Pink, Usher and Santana are also on the bill.

Shine on you crazy diamond Oscar winner Kim Basinger narrates "Mystery of the Hope Diamond" (7 p.m. Sunday, Smithsonian), a new documentary that coincides with the 50th anniversary of Harry Winston's donation of the gem to the National Museum of Natural History. Mrs. Winston still hasn't forgiven him.

Montgomery's cliff Anyone who thinks "The Simpsons" (7 p.m. Sunday, KMSP, Ch. 9) has lost its edge didn't see last week's episode, which included a classic bit in which Homer kept filling the tank so he could get free trinkets from the gas station. The latest installment finds Mr. Burns facing his final weeks on Earth. How does he spend it? In the Simpsons' household. Twenty-two seasons and still hilarious.
