Tyra's terror Just when you thought there were no new ways to capitalize on the vampire craze, along comes a new edition of "America's Next Top Supermodel" (7 p.m., WUCW, Ch. 23) in which the eternally beautiful Tyra Banks forces contestants to dress as bloodsuckers and sink into a bloody bathtub. That's a little too creepy for our taste. We're much more interested in what happens when the women return to their pad and two of them get their fangs out.

Hail Mary The utterly watchable Mary McCormack returns for the third season of "In Plain Sight" (9 p.m., USA), trying to recover from a nearly fatal shooting and the fact that she agreed to marry her boyfriend. McCormack is terrific, as usual, but the real surprise here is a guest appearance by Donnie Wahlberg, who once again proves that Marky Mark isn't the only one in the family with acting chops.

American Pei The latest edition of “American Masters” (8 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) portrays master architect I.M. Pei as he returns to his ancestral home -- a 2,500-year-old city in China -- to design a modern museum. Despite his reputation, the 84-year-old genius faces plenty of resistance as he tries to put his own spin on an area wedded to tradition. The result is a lesson in leadership and stubbornness, not to mention a kick-butt building.
