Jesse Ventura visits "The View"

March 10, 2010 at 10:19PM

Jesse's girls Jesse Ventura visits "The View" (10 a.m., KSTP, Ch. 5) to promote his new book, "1,001 Reasons I Hate the Star Tribune" (or something like that), and discuss his theory that Joy Behar is really a secret agent working for the Russians.

High and mighty Tinsley Mortimer is pretty, wealthy and self-centered, which makes her the ideal candidate for a reality show. "High Society" (8:30 p.m., WUCW, Ch. 23) takes us into the fragile world of late-night socializing among the spoiled and would-be famous in Manhattan. I never thought I'd say this, but I think I'd rather hang with the "Jersey Shore" gang.

Isn't it rich "Ugly Betty" (9:01 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5) may be going off the air, but not before one of our favorite Minnesotans gets a chance to woo the title character. Rich Sommer, best known for his work on "Mad Men," takes a break from the ad game to play an irritable firefighter who makes a play for our girl. Also making goo-goo eyes: series regular Vanessa Williams and guest Brian Stokes Mitchell.
