"SO You Think You Can Dance," "Waterworld"

July 31, 2012 at 9:18PM

Making the cut "So You Think You Can Dance?" (7 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9) makes its first elimination, which will give judge Mary Murphy ample opportunity to make up some new wacko catchphrase and shatter the eardrums of viewers cursed with pitch-perfect hearing.

Twin Cities treats One well-known foodie shows off his love for Minneapolis grub in a couple of repeats. A 2009 episode of "Man V. Food" (7:30 p.m., Travel) finds host Adam Richman chomping down on a Jucy Lucy, while "Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in America" (8:30 p.m., Travel) features Tilia's fish taco torta, a dish initially spotlighted last month.

Seaworthy"Waterworld" (5 p.m., Cinemax) has a reputation as one of cinema's biggest bombs. But give it a chance. Yes, giving Kevin Costner webbed feet may have been a mistake, but the rest plays out like a futuristic western with Dennis Hopper spewing evil.
