"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and Kelly Osbourne does a turn on "The Talk"

March 8, 2011 at 7:56PM

Like mother, like daughter Kelly Osbourne has already made a surprisingly smooth transition from reality-show brat to Red Carpet fashion consultant. Now let's see how she does as a chatmaster. Osbourne fills in for Big Mama (Sharon) for three episodes of "The Talk" (1 p.m. WCCO, Ch. 4), making her the first guest host in the show's young history. Sharon will be on the road for "America's Got Talent."

Can we talk? It's a tragedy that the Academy didn't nominate 2010's "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work" (7 p.m. TMC). One, it's a searing documentary that's at once hilarious and insightful, especially when the workaholic comic hits the road. Two, the sleepy ceremonies could have used Rivers. I'm fairly certain that if she would have won, she would have slapped James Franco awake on her way to the podium.

Hot Patootie There's a whole generation of "Glee" fans who probably saw the show's recent tribute to Dr. Frank-N-Furter and had no idea what the kids were referencing. Now's your chance. "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (9 p.m. FMC) is a fairly terrible 1975 musical film, but has become a cult classic thanks to Transylvanians doing the "Time Warp" and an early glimpse of Susan Sarandon's, um, body of work.
