TV critic's picks: Wednesday

"Friday Night Lights," "Hollywood Treasure," "Happy Days"

The final quarter School's almost out for Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) and his students, but not before a final season of "Friday Night Lights" (8 p.m., DirecTV), which will feature familiar faces from throughout the run. Wife Tami (the wonderful Connie Britton) is back at East Dillon High and is dead set on repairing the school -- even if it puts a strain on their marriage. Expect another season of dramatic touchdowns. This fifth season will most likely run on NBC early next year.

Hurray for Hollywood Even the most die-hard entertainment fans can't compete with Joe Maddalena, an avid collector of movie and TV memorabilia. In his new series, "Hollywood Treasure" (9 p.m., Syfy), he does his best impression of Indiana Jones, exploring the world for such valuable items as the carpet bag from "Mary Poppins," the Wicked Witch's hat from "The Wizard of Oz," the bottle from "I Dream of Jeannie" and Mary Ann's wardrobe from "Gilligan's Island."

Life with father You undoubtedly cried into your coffee last week when you heard about the death of beloved TV father Tom Bosley. The best way to pay tribute is to catch this classic episode of "Happy Days" (9:30 p.m., The Hub), in which Richie wins a date with a future Angel (Cheryl Ladd). Good thing Dad is around to pick up the pieces of his son's broken heart.
