A train to New Orleans Your kids might be too young to handle a trip to New Orleans, but you can give them a taste of the Big Easy via 2009's "The Princess and the Frog" (6:20 p.m., Starz), a Southern-fried version of the classic fable with great animation and even better music.

With all due respect TCM pays tribute to stars who died in 2011 with an in-memoriam marathon that includes Jane Russell in the controversial "The Paleface" (7 p.m.), Peter Falk in the sidesplitting "The In-Laws" (9 p.m.) and Elizabeth Taylor in the sultry "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (midnight).

The dark Knight Minnesota's own T.R. Knight has focused mostly on theater since leaving "Grey's Anatomy," but he did take time out earlier this year for a riveting guest turn on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (9 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). The performance is worth watching again. Here's hoping Knight soon commits to another series.
