"Runnin' Rebels of UNLV," "Lindsey Vonn: In the Moment"

Towel boy Jerry Tarkanian, the coach who sucked on towels like Shirley Temple sucked on lollipops, is the focus of "Runnin' Rebels of UNLV" (8:30 p.m. Saturday, HBO), a fast-break documentary about one of the most exciting -- and controversial -- teams in the history of college basketball. Renowned hoops expert Jimmy Kimmel is among the talking heads.

Piano men It's fitting that "Hitman Returns: David Foster & Friends" (7 p.m. Sunday, TPT Life) was taped in Las Vegas, since the songwriter/producer acts like he was born and bred in a casino lounge. The shtick is as thick as the guest list, which includes Michael Bolton, Chaka Khan and Kenny Loggins. The special is followed by "Billy Joel: Live at Shea Stadium" (9 p.m. Sunday, TPT Life), which was originally scheduled to air last weekend, but got switched at the last minute. Maybe there was a rain delay.
