Salute to Whitney Houston; Ken Burns' "The Dust Bowl"

Belting it out Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and Yolanda Adams are among the singers with huge voices paying their respects in "We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston" (9 p.m. Friday, WCCO, Ch. 4). Both tissues and earplugs are highly recommended.

Claymates Minnesota potters Warren MacKenzie and Jeff Oestreich, who are profiled in "Craft in America" (noon Sunday, KTCA, Ch. 2; 5 p.m. Sunday, KTCI, Ch. 17), prove that you don't need Whoopi Goldberg's help or "Unchained Melody" to be playing in the background to create great works of art.

Eat my dust"The Dust Bowl" (7 p.m. Sunday, KTCA, Ch. 2) gets the Ken Burns treatment in this highly educational four-hour documentary that shows one of America's greatest climatic challenges was a manmade disaster. The footage and testimonials are harrowing. The movie concludes at 7 p.m. Monday.

Now the tale is part of "I Forgive You" (8 p.m. Sunday, GMC), a new reality series about the power of mending fences.
