TV critic's picks: Friday-Sunday

"Shark Tank," Louis C.K. hosts "Saturday Night Live"

November 1, 2012 at 7:51PM

Swimming with sharks Seth MacFarlane continues his quest for world domination by making an appearance on "Shark Tank" (8 p.m. Friday, KSTP, Ch. 5). In the episode, the "Family Guy" creator shows his support for an inventor and tries to obtain some good jokes from Mark Cuban to use for his upcoming Oscar-hosting gig.

Louie SNLLouis C.K. says "Louie" won't be back until 2014, but that doesn't mean he's lying on a beach in Miami. The red-hot comic serves as host of "Saturday Night Live" (10:30 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11), where we hope he'll unveil his Paul Ryan impression.

SEALing the deal "Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden" (7 p.m. Sunday, Nat. Geo.) beats Kathyrn Bigelow's "Zero Dark Thirty" to the punch by being first out of the gate to dramatize the killing of Enemy No. 1. Freddie Rodriguez and Kathleen Robertson are among the patriotically drawn characters.

Be our guest "The Good Wife" (8:30 p.m. Sunday, WCCO, Ch. 4) may be taking a hit in the ratings, but it's not suffering for great guest stars. Amanda Peet, Brian Dennehy, Maura Tierney and Denis O'Hare are all on board in this new episode directed by series regular Josh Charles.
