Safe 'Haven' It took a while for former Twin Cities restaurateurs Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn to find a recipe for success in Hollywood, but they finally established themselves by developing "Haven" (9 p.m. Friday, Syfy), a quirky, "Twin Peaks"-like thriller that returns for its third season.

Princess bride In "Secret Princes" (9 p.m. Friday, TLC), royal bachelors go undercover in the United States to try to find spouses who love them for their personalities, not their crowns. The suitors are advised not to show up at their first dates with Jeeves the Butler.

Jimmy eat world For years, Jimmy Kimmel has had to watch TV's biggest night from across the street. But this time, he's the center of attention as host of "The 64th Annual Emmy Awards" (7 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5). You can read about how he's preparing in Sunday's Variety section. Die-hard fans can also check out red-carpet action, starting at 5 p.m. on E! and 6 p.m. on ABC.

Stirring it up Turns out Anthony Bourdain can cook outside of the kitchen. The noted chef helped develop the story line for the Season 3 premiere of "Treme" (9 p.m. Sunday, HBO), a New Orleans delicacy seasoned with great live music. The Neville Brothers, Fats Domino and Marcia Ball all contribute to this latest season.
