A & Q

Just how brainy is Minnesota native Thomas Friedman? We'll find out when the best-selling author and New York Times columnist goes up against CNN's Anderson Cooper and NBC's Kelly O'Donnell in the final round of Power Players Week on "Jeopardy!" (4:30 p.m. Friday, KARE, Ch. 11).

Miss you

Mick Jagger may be the host of the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" (10:30 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11), but the real focus should be on Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg, all of whom are rumored not to be returning in the fall. The potential goodbye party includes Jagger jamming with Jeff Beck, Arcade Fire and the Foo Fighters.

Sunshine of our lives

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas -- unless you want to boast about winning one of the "2012 Billboard Music Awards" (7 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5). Carrie Underwood and Justin Bieber are set to perform, as is Stevie Wonder, who will be receive the Icon Award.

Trump card

Clay Aiken couldn't topple Ruben Studdard on "American Idol," but he's got a fighting chance to be "The Celebrity Apprentice" (8 p.m. Sunday, KARE, Ch. 11) as he takes on Arsenio Hall in the two-hour finale.
