Misery makeover

It's over. After nine seasons, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (7 p.m. Fri., KSTP, Ch. 5) has an exit strategy: helping seven families whose homes were decimated by a tornado in Joplin, Mo.

How to succeed at Hogwarts

Is the writing improving on "Saturday Night Live" (10:30 p.m. Sat., KARE, Ch. 11)? Or was it because the past two hosts, Jimmy Fallon and Charles Barkley, brought something extra special to the party? Maybe host Daniel "Harry Potter" Radcliffe, fresh from Broadway's "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," will get help from one of his special friends like Emma Watson or Voldemort. Vampy chanteuse Lana Del Rey will be there for sure.

Vote for Pedro

Fox adds "Napoleon Dynamite" (7:30 p.m. Sun., KMSP, Ch. 9) to its Sunday animation stable. Based on the characters from the 2004 cult movie of the same name, the new series features Jon Heder voicing the title role along with others from the film. This two-episode debut opens with Nap dealing with rage caused by a new acne medicine.
