Death Valley days

Tommy Lee Jones got an Oscar for "The Fugitive" and is a favorite to win his second for "Lincoln," but don't overlook his nominated performance in 2007's "In the Valley of Elah" (6:20 p.m., More Max), a quietly devastating tale about the price of war. Charlize Theron and Susan Sarandon co-star.

Going in style

It's so much fun saying the word "Jerseylicious" (7 p.m., Style). If only we didn't have to watch the show. For those who must find out how things are going between makeup artist Olivia and stylist Tracy, who is on the verge of getting married, this is the start of Season 5.

J.R.'s last ride

The return of "Dallas" (8 p.m., TNT) is bittersweet, for we all know that Larry Hagman passed away during filming. There should be a massive funeral episode around early March, but before that J.R. Ewing still has a few tricks up his sleeve before he tips his hat goodbye.
