SundayMeet TV's latest cop: On the new Lifetime series "Against the Wall" (9 p.m.), Rachael Carpani ("The Glades") plays an internal-affairs detective trying to keep the Chicago police force clean. Good luck with that, especially since those cops include her tough-guy dad -- former "Prince of the City" Treat Williams -- and three brothers.

Monday"Historically, when Americans don't know what to do next, they go to Paris." So says Craig Ferguson, but the funnyman's from Scotland, so we have no idea why "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (11:37 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) is airing this week from the City of Lights -- unless he's hoping to run into Papa Hemingway, Scott and Zelda, or at the very least Marion Cotillard.

TuesdayNothing says summer like sweet corn, sunscreen and ... "Shark Week." Yes, starting on Sunday Discovery Channel brings back its annual don't-go-near-the-water celebration of all things Carcharodon. Tuesday's offerings include "Top Five Eaten Alive" (7 p.m.), in which survivors recount their attacks, and "Great White Invasion" (9 p.m.), which is not about the deadly hard-rock band. "Could it be that overfishing has brought man to the top of the shark's food chain?" the network asks, maybe a bit too hopefully.

WednesdayHotshot lawyers "Franklin & Bash" (Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar) try to help boss Malcolm McDowell beat a murder rap in the season finale of this juvenile new dramedy (8 p.m., TNT). Ratings have been good, however, which means we'll see it again next summer -- unlike Ray Romano's "Men of a Certain Age," the critical fave that TNT just canceled. So much for justice.

ThursdayLike a showbiz Decepticon, Fargo's favorite son Josh Duhamel is changing back into a soap-opera star. The "Transformers" stud, last seen leaping off the Sears Tower in a flying-squirrel suit, returns for the farewell run of "All My Children" (noon, KSTP, Ch. 5) in his Emmy-winning role as con man Leo du Pres -- last seen tumbling over a waterfall in 2003 while trying to save his love Greenlee (Rebecca Budig). Bet she has a few questions for him.
