Sunday Anne Hathaway guests on "The Simpsons" (7 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9) as Krusty's beloved, but the real star of the night is "Supersize Me" director Morgan Spurlock. He travels the globe to interview Homer fans for the top-notch documentary "The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!" (7:30 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9), featuring everyone from San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom to Moby, who presents his version of the highly hummable tune "Mr. Plow."

Monday For the 100th episode of "How I Met Your Mother" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4), viewers come tantalizingly close to finding out the identity of the title character (we actually see her foot!), but the real draw is a rip-roaring musical number, "Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit," which proves two things: Sitcoms should provide more dancing, and Jason Segel has no sense of rhythm.

Tuesday The most amazing thing about "American Idol" (7 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9), which kicks off its ninth season, isn't that it's the most watched show on television or that it turned a grouch like Simon Cowell into a beloved figure. It's that the contestants actually amount to something. In all, top performers have graduated to sell a total of 40 million records, achieve 60 No. 1 hits and seven Grammys. Let's see the "Survivor" champs match that accomplishment.

Wednesday The most annoying members of Las Vegas' Chaparral High School class of 1989 take center stage in a new season of "High School Reunion" (9 p.m., TV Land), a series that gets an A-plus in embarrassing its participants and audience. I don't care how great the Hawaii mansion is or how much free alcohol producers supply. Ten minutes with any of these losers, and I'd be swimming for the mainland.

Thursday Fans waiting for a new version of "Get Smart" have gotten their wish -- and then some. "Archer" (9 p.m., FX), an animated series from the warped mind of Adam Reed, is a very adult, very clever send-up of the spy genre featuring a superagent who cares more about his expense account than catching the bad guy. Jessica Walter, Aisha Tyler and Chris Parnell are among the celebrities lending their voices.
