Broken Tail: A Tiger's Last Journe had me purring.

SundayAfter my bitter breakup with Tony the Tiger, I never thought I'd give up my heart for a cat again, but "Broken Tail: A Tiger's Last Journey" (7 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) had me purring. Filmmaker Colin Stafford-Johnson chronicles his dedication to Broken Tail and how the creature mysteriously disappeared from his home and wandered through Rajasthan, India, until its gruesome death. Wonderful photography and a heartbreaking tale add up to an unforgettable documentary.

MondayWhatever you think of former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, give him credit for agreeing to come on "The Late Show With David Letterman" (10:35 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4), where the host feasted on the politician for nearly a decade. Of course, it's easier to be brave when you're pushing a memoir. Also on the program: Adele, who has the ability to soothe savage beasts.

TuesdayAnother year, another city. "Real Housewives of Miami" (9 p.m., Bravo) joins the franchise with six new women as eager to soak up the spotlight as they are to soak up the Florida sun. The cast includes Scottie Pippen's wife; the ex-wife of another ex-NBAer, Glen Rice; the executive editor of a fashion magazine; a seer, and a South American hothead. Add spices and stir.

WednesdayTyra Banks, who recently enrolled in Harvard Business School (for real), is savvy enough to churn out another season of "America's Next Top Model" (7 p.m., WUCW, Ch. 23). Contestants include a student studying marine biology, a sports-bar waitress, a Planned Parenthood activist and a Texan who absolutely loves to dance. Sounds as if Tyra will have plenty of people to help her with her homework.

ThursdayLaurence Fishburne brings his considerable gravitas to "Thurgood" (8 p.m., HBO), an effective taping of his one-man stage tribute to Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. The brisk, 90-minute play focuses on his childhood and remarkable rise. I initially was disappointed that there was very little about his time on the court, but now I realize that there's ample reason for a sequel.

In this photo taken Monday, March 6, 2017, in San Francisco, released confidential files by The University of California of a sexual misconduct case, like this one against UC Santa Cruz Latin Studies professor Hector Perla is shown. Perla was accused of raping a student during a wine-tasting outing in June 2015. Some of the files are so heavily redacted that on many pages no words are visible. Perla is one of 113 UC employees found to have violated the system's sexual misconduct policies in rece
