Tuesday (Tiger Woods: When does it end?) edition: Wha' Happened?

More alleged mistresses. A report of an ambulance call at his home last night. Is this just the beginning, or does this story have an end?

Pardon us if we continue to mention one Tiger Woods story a day in this space, but we continue to be flabbergasted and captivated by the developments in the golfer's life -- just as many other folks around the world appear to be.

The latest? A report of an ambulance call to his home late last night, with a woman taken to the hospital.

A woman was taken to the hospital from the home of Tiger Woods early Tuesday, according to local media reports. According to WESH-TV, firefighters from Orange County, Fla, responded to a medical call received at 2:36 a.m. ET. The station reported that a radio log showed an adult woman taken to a local hospital. According to WESH-TV, the log showed the patient initially refused transport, but was later listed as an advanced life support patient. The station also reported that a black Cadillac SUV was seen leaving the hospital shortly after the ambulance arrived, and that the license plate was similar to the one involved in the crash that involved Woods on Nov. 27.

It seems like every day there is new evidence that Tiger's carefully constructed image and life is crumbling before our eyes. Even if only a fraction of the tabloid stuff is true, there is more than enough out there confirmed -- including his own confession, which grows increasingly lame by the day as well -- to make us legitimately wonder how this will end and when it will end. Does it end if he goes on Oprah? Will he get a divorce? Will he have to hear "Get in the hole!" every time he takes a swing on a course, only now it will be a double entendre from smirking fans?

As someone who followed Tiger inside the ropes for the entirety of the 2002 and 2009 PGA Championships at Hazeltine, we can only wonder how different that experience would have been post-crash. And we're still more than a little stunned that this is happening. We're not surprised that it's happening to a famous athlete. We are surprised it's happening to Tiger Woods.
