Everything was great about Zach Parise's return to the lineup in a 3-1 win over San Jose on Sunday, except when teammate Chris Stewart accidentally punched Parise in the face after the whistle. The Star Tribune's Michael Russo quoted Stewart postgame saying jokingly, "It's chippy at the front of the net, so, I just was making sure he was into the game. I thought I'd wake him up."
