Brad Davison scored 14 points, and D'Mitrik Trice added 11 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists as Wisconsin used a big second half to power past Nebraska 82-68 on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center.

After leading 39-38 at halftime, the Badgers (12-7, 5-3 Big Ten) opened the second half on a 20-4 run to hand the Cornhuskers (7-12, 2-6) their fourth straight loss. Davison, a junior guard from Maple Grove, started the surge with back-to-back threes.

No. 17 Maryland 77, Northwestern 66: Jalen Smith scored a career-high 25 points as the Terrapins (15-4, 5-3 Big Ten) rallied to beat the host Wildcats (6-12, 1-7) after trailing by 15 in the first half.

No. 21 Illinois 79, Purdue 62: Kofi Cockburn finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds, and Trent Frazier added 21 points as the visiting Illini (14-5, 6-2 Big Ten) pulled away in the second half to beat the Boilermakers. Nojel Eastern had 14 points for Purdue (10-9, 4-4).


No. 8 Duke 89, Miami 59: Matthew Hurt, a freshman from Rochester John Marshall, scored 15 of his 22 points in the first half to help the host Blue Devils (16-3, 6-2 ACC) rout the Hurricanes (10-8, 2-6). Apple Valley's Tre Jones added 16 points for the Blue Devils.
