Today's bowl games

HEART OF DALLAS UTAH (6-6) VS. WEST VIRGINIA (7-5)

12:30 p.m., Dallas • ESPN

Utah, 13-1 in bowls since 1999, is trying to finish with a winning record for the fourth year in a row. West Virginia wants to end a two-game losing streak but will be without QB Will Grier (broken finger) and RB Justin Crawford (sitting out to prepare for NFL draft).

QUICK LANE DUKE (6-6) VS. NORTHERN ILLINOIS (8-4)

3:15 p.m., Detroit • ESPN

Duke won its final two regular-season games after a six-game losing streak that followed a 4-0 start to the season. Northern Illinois, back in a bowl after its eight-year run ended last year, is 3-4 in seven MAC championship games in Detroit.

CACTUS UCLA (6-6) VS. KANSAS STATE (7-5)

8 p.m., Phoenix • ESPN

UCLA is playing its final game under interim coach Jedd Fisch before former Oregon coach Chip Kelly takes over. Kansas State is closing out its 26th season under Bill Snyder, with its eighth consecutive bowl appearance.
