Former Vikings QB Brett Favre has retired from the game of football (we think), but he just might never retire from the game of making headlines. In this case, of course, we imagine he would rather not. We can't imagine him having much fun out there in the court of law. Per the NY Daily News:
Brett Favre will have to answer questions under oath about sleazy text messages he allegedly sent two female masseuses who gave the team rubdowns.
Earlier this month, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Milton Tingling refused to dismiss a lawsuit the masseuses brought against Favre, the Jets and Lisa Ripi, a team employee who supervised them. Christine Scavo and Shannon O'Toole allege the randy gridiron great made passes at them in texts.
"Brett here. You and Crissy want to get together? I'm all alone," Favre wrote in one message, according to their lawsuit filed last year. "Kinda lonely tonight. I guess I have bad intentions."
This is bad news for Favre, of course, who will probably not be like a kid out there answering those questions. It is terrific news, however, for those of us who had forgotten to use Brett Favre's Bad Intentions as a fantasy football team name.
