The U.S. sevens finished 3-2 and earned a ninth-place finish.

Andy Bisek, Greco-Roman wrestling (75 kilograms)

Finished 1-1.

Ben Blankenship, 1,500 meters

Competes: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday (preliminaries), Thursday (semifinals), Saturday (final)

Kelly Catlin, track cycling (women's team pursuit)

The U.S team won a silver medal

Competes: Saturday (qualifications), Sunday (final)

Katie Johnson, women's rugby

The U.S. sevens finished 2-3-1 and earned a fifth-place finish.

Heather Miller-Koch, heptathlon

Finished 18th in the heptathlon.

Gwen Jorgensen, triathlon

Competes: Saturday

Megan Kalmoe, rowing (women's quad sculls)

The U.S. finished fifth in the gold medal race.

Lynx (Lindsay Whalen, Maya Moore, Seimone Augustus and Sylvia Fowles), women's basketball

Compete: 4:45 p.m. Tuesday vs. Japan in quarterfinals.

Hassan Mead, 5,000 meters

Competes: 8:05 a.m. Wednesday (first round), Saturday (final).

Paula Lynn Obanana, badminton (women's doubles)

Obanana and partner Eva Lee finished 0-3.

David Plummer, swimming

Won a bronze medal in the 100 backstroke and a gold medal after swimming in the preliminaries of the 4x100 relay.

Alise Post, cycling (women's BMX)

Competes: Wednesday (seeding), Friday (semi­finals and final)
