Kez Flomo ran for 138 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns to lift Totino-Grace to a Class 6A section crossover game victory in Fridley. The Eagles ball-control offense spent almost 35 minutes on the field, amassing 337 rushing yards. After Stillwater scored on a nine-play, 68-yard drive to open the game, the Eagles defense limited the Ponies offense to only 100 total yards for the rest of the game.

Key of the game: Leading by eight points at halftime, Totino-Grace opened the second half with a 6-minute, 54-second drive, capping by a 16-yard touchdown run by quarterback Lance Benick.

Quote: "We had an angel watching over us, and we played our butt off for her. We had a great time." — Flomo, on his team playing for team manager Rachel Woell, who died Sept. 26

One thing to know: Entering the game, running back Zach Knox needed only 24 yards to become Stillwater's career leading rusher. The senior gained 99 yards and ended his career with 3,104.
