Nontoxic trap lures fruit flies Finally, a solution to those annoying little fruit flies.

Terro has introduced a trap specifically designed for the tiny pests. The apple-shaped trap lures the insects with nontoxic acetic acid, the basis of vinegar. Once inside the trap, the fruit flies can't escape.

The trap is available at some hardware stores and can be ordered online from sites including the Terro website, www.terro.com. It retails for about $8.
